Woods We Use
**Please Note: These photos are for representation purposes only - each piece of wood used in the making of your ring will have its own variation in grain, shade, tone, etc**
Metals & Composites We Use
Carbon Fiber: Carbon Fiber has a unique & distinct appearance, lightweight & strong, and works wonderfully with other materials! Extremely durable, trendy, non allergenic, and chemically resistant & waterproof.
Titanium: Titanium is a great alternative if you're looking for a more 'traditional' appearance (if used on the exterior of course). It can be highly polished to be similar in appearance of white gold. Or it can be have a brushed/satin/matte finish. Titanium is lightweight, strong, and hypoallergenic. Keep in mind though that Titanium does scratch fairly easily, although they can be buffed out.
316 Stainless Steel: 316 Stainless is another great alternative to the traditional metals. It is slightly heavier than Titanium, but is much more scratch resistant. Again, this material is hypoallergenic! Stainless does have a 'shinier'/'chrome-like' appearance over Titanium.
Composite Mokume Gane: The Mokume Gane styles we work with are a composite material. The easiest/shortest explanation is that it is real metal that is broken down and put back together with binders. This material will not tarnish, oxidize, and will not conduct electricity...pretty cool stuff!
